Each address gets an estimate of how much time you would spend travelling in a week. For every place, it multiplies how often you go by two (there and back) and by the journey time, then adds the places up.

Set how often you go to each place in My places. Work starts at five times a week and every other place at once a week. The City starts at “Not counted”, so it stays a reference point.

The estimate uses one weekday-morning journey to each place and assumes the trip home takes the same time. Waits at interchanges are included; the wait for the first service is not.

If a journey is still running or failed, the total reads “at least” and says how many are missing, because the real figure is higher. Places set to “Not counted”, and one-off journeys, are left out of the total and of the peak frequency summary.

Weekly travel time in the sort control orders addresses by this estimate, and the last column of the matrix shows it for every address.
